What happened? Often, that is all parties want to discover. Yet they may not trust each other to find out the facts, which can often be “interpreted” with some level of bias. A neutral fact finder has no stake in the outcome. The fact finder can investigate what happened, give his/her findings and if desired recommendations to prevent the dispute from re-occurring.
